The quilting is nice and the material almost appears sueded. The fit is somewhat streamlined, as opposed to big and bulky.

This UK size 10 fits fine but I would not want it any tighter. I wear it with a ribbed, non-bulky turtleneck sweater. If you want to wear it for outdoors with a heavy sweater I would go up one size.

I personally think it is a better cut than most. It's soft and attractive, not bulky. Love it!

I ordered the stone color, is more taupe in reality than the color looks online (looks more yellowish). It is a slighter longer cut which covers the hips and rear end, which I really like - looks more fashionable and flattering, while slimming.

However this vest was way to long and was more fitted than I would have liked. I have a microfiber barbour vest that I purchased a number of years ago and it is a bit longer in the back and shorter in the front which is more comfortable. It will work for taller people and people who are not fuller up top.

I read other reviewer suggestions ( ex: add 4 to your American size) and am very pleased with the fit. There is enough room for a heavy sweater to be worn under the garment.
