They are definitely appropriate for casual wear, but I also use them in formal settings with a skirt or suit. I most value them for their warmth. Although the toe bed is not lined, which takes some getting used to, I think it may be to provide more traction. The heel is a bit wide, but that is what I expect out of a clog. They fit best with mid-weight socks or tights. The fleece lining feels so much more cozy than the average shoe, making them a perfect alternative to big, heavy boots that might keep your feet warm but are cumbersome and undesireable especially when there isn't even any snow yet. For me, sometimes comfort has to take precedence over style, but it sure is nice when I can have both! These shoes are a winner!

The only thing I don't like is that the sheepskin lining doesn't cover the toe - and that's the area that you need the most cushion and warmth.

They are very warm and perfect for the cold winter months.

Unforunately, not very well executed. The shoe runs large and wide. It slid entirely off my heel, even after adding a huge additional insole. The lining is not continued through the entire length of the shoes; it stops before the ball of the foot. So if you want warm feet, you'll need to add a separate fleece liner. Even with that the heel is so wide that my foot slips. An excellent idea from a great company, but not a home-run with this one.

Year-round cozy cabin comfort. I love the ease of slipping into these decadently soft, warm, yet supportive booties. My rabbits like them as well. They are a little large, so if you normally wear a half-size, I think it would be appropriate to go down one half size.
