It was a great gamble. THey are exceptionally comfortable. Great padding throughout the foot and especially at the heel, ankle support reminiscent of a skate shoe, lightweight, and good looking. Warning - I wear a 7.5 or 8 in running shoes and bought these in a 7, and they fit perfectly.

I agree that the lacing system on their other shoes is better. These are great running shoes for a combo of trail and pavement - good arch support, cushioning, and stability.

They seem to run big and don't have the easy lace system that other Soloman's have.
