Still great running shoes By Biking Soccer Mom from Palo Alto, CA on 03/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have flat feet. I have been buying the Brooks Ariel shoes for five years. Their "motion control" is perfect for me. I run 3 miles about 2-3 times/week and replace the shoes every other year. I was happy to find these shoes on sale at Sierra Trading Post!
By The overpronater from Michigan on 03/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stability Shoe Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear orthotics for overpronation. These shoes are comfortable with the orthotics and also give the stability I need for my feet. They are probably the most opposite of racing flats you can get, but are great for endurance and my feet are well pleased with them.

This shoe is worth the money! By Amy from Portland, OR on 02/18/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Endurance Training, Jazzercise Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This the only shoe I have ever found that is wide enough in the toe box for my funny feet, but narrow enough (esp. in the heel) to stay on when tied. I do not feel pain on the outside of the toe box wearing these shoes while doing high impact Jazzercise. Also, the bottom/sole is very firm and supportive.
very comforable and suppurtive By NataGucci from Dallas, Texas on 02/16/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am not a runner, just was looking for nice pair of tennise shoose. Very happy with my 'Ariel'. I used to have Brooks before, they all feel wonderful, but Ariel gives your feet good support besides of anything else.
Some customers review reccomend to buy 1/2 bigger. I am glad I bought my regular size, they felt a little tight just for firs 15 min they are on, after it is great.
