By Reba from Chicago, IL on 01/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Running, Step aerobics, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My feet pronate (roll in), and Brooks shoes are among the best I've ever owned for correcting that. This particular model isn't quite as good as the last pair of Brooks I had (don't remember that model number), but these are still really good.
I have bought this shoe again and again! By No Longer Tortured by Gym Shoes from San Francisco, CA on 12/30/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Endurance Training, Everyday wear, Foot Ailments, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is the best I've found for anyone who needs the ultimate stability shoe for a wide, flat foot. I searched for years to find a shoe that was ultra-stabilizing, but not "clubfoot" shaped -- where it looked/felt like the forefoot and heel areas were the same width. I have the world's worst foot -- high instep, no arch, wide forefoot and narrow heel and these work great. I use them with orthotics, too, so I size up 1/2 size to accommodate. The only negative is that they don't last as long as I'd like.
I practically live in them -- for work, the gym, shopping, walking, jogging, hiking, travel... anywhere a running shoe can be used. They're also breathable, so they're good in hot weather. Given the mesh forefoot, it probably isn't a good shoe for snowy/icy weather.

I will buy this brand again.
