By disappointed customer from Houston, TX on 08/05/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these shoes for my 11 year old. When they arrived we were very disappointed. The shoes looked great, but fit horribly. They were too wide between the soles and the top, so his foot slopped around and just slid right out. There was no way to adjust them down far enough to make them fit. I couldn't even get them to fit on my foot correctly.
By Water Kid's Mom from Western KY on 06/24/2008 Cons: Causes Blisters, Not true to Merrell Size Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Water Play Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Footbed is smaller than Merrell shoes of the same size. Styling is a bit little-kid for a shoe in a big-kid size. Don't agree with previous reviewer: the size 4 is shorter than the size 4 Merrell Jungle Mocs, and just a little smaller than last year's 3 1/2 sandal of a similar design.
Velcro on straps rubs if not worn very loosely -- straps are a bit short for a true size 4.
Wonderful for my son's wide foot By My3Sons from Titusville, Florida on 06/24/2008 Pros: adjustable width, Attractive Design, Breathe Well, Comfortable, Durable, Great Cushioning Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son has wide feet and I usually buy him Ecco for the width but these fit and were comfortable for him right out of the box! Months later they are still holding up.
This is not a "kids" sandal, it's youth By unhappy parent from DSM, IA on 06/19/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: when ordering this product I specifically looked to see if it was for kids or youth to determine which products would apply to my child. These shoes were not labeled or catagorized correctly. They were truly a youth shoe, not kid. I'm a 5'9" adult female and can wear these shoes, obviously not ment for a kid.
