By Flat Footed Native New Yorker from Westchester, New York on 08/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These interchange sandels are great - especialy for problem feet because you can adjust all of the straps to suit your special situation. I wish Columbia would make this basic interchange model in different looks i.e. solid color leather - black/brown/tan. Even a black patent would be a very cool look with a solid black sole. Hope they keep making this style!
I still like surftide II better By memary from Sacramento CA on 07/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice sandals and good quality as expected from Columbia. However, the surftide II is still my favorite.

By cat from meridian Idaho on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Color will get dirty Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only thing about them is that they are white where your feet are and they will get really dirty. SHould have made them grey.
By redhen from Mission Viejo CA on 06/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, iterchangable, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a pair of these for myself and they were so great that I bought a pair for 2 friends. They too felt that these are indispensable sandals. Because they are interchangeable from straight sandals to mules they double their use.We all felt that they were comfy from the very first time we put them on and had no break-in time. So adjustable that they fit the friend that has freq. swelling in her feet and good for the one who has somewhat narrow feet. Good balance for older folks, due to wide base.
By county.agent from Tionesta, PA on 06/04/2008 Pros: Durable, Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Chafed across the instep Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is the third pair of Columbia sandals I've had and for whatever reason, the first day of wear left me with raw spots from the strap over the instep. I left them off for a few days and cautiously wore them again and now they seem to be ok, but I wonder if a bit of the velcro over-extends enough to hit the skin below the strap. I was very careful how I strapped them on the second day.
I love this kind of sandal because it gives such good support to my size 10 wide foot.

By Emmycat from Fairfield, IA on 05/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Straps can pinch a little Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wading, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really cool sandals, and I love the fact that the heel straps can be removed to create slip-ons. They're very comfortable, and I've worn them several times at work, where I have to spend the whole day on my feet, and for once my feet didn't kill me at the end of the day! It feels like I'm walking in clouds when I wear these. Aside from the tendency for the straps to pinch sometimes (rather rare, and the sandals can be adjusted with the Velcro), I really love these, and will recommend them! Another bonus is that there's no leather on them. I don't wear leather for ethical reasons, but also it means that one can wade in them with no ill effects. Very excellent!
