Fantastic Trail/Casual Shoes By BD from Virginia on 03/03/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great shoes right out of the box. They are extremely comfortable and don't require break-in. They are a little bit heavy in comparison to my favorite trail shoe I've owned, Merrell Chameleon II Stretch (Discontinued). They are not water proof, but they dry quickly. They also run a bit large, so order a half size smaller than you normally wear. I would definitely buy another pair of these shoes.

Best Shoes I've ever owned! By Never cared enough to review anything. from Charlottesville, VA on 01/31/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Trail Jogger, Traveler Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes have been my favorite for as long as I've had them. I bought them for a traveling around Central and South America. They look good enough to wear around cities, museums, etc. They're rugged enough to climb mountains and jog/run jungle trails. They're comfortable enough to wear all day, and they've lasted a very long time. I only came to this site to buy another pair.

I have a wide thick foot and have trouble with most shoes. These have extra room without feeling sloppy

By an old guy from Northern VA on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered a nominal 1/2 size larger to accommodate more cushioning (as in an additional insole). Normally a 1/2 larger is more than sufficient, but for those shoes, a 1/2 size was barely adequate. Also the width was noticeably wider than the nominal medium. With all of this, the shoes are definitely usable for day hiking, which is their intented use.
By Chris from Pittsburgh on 12/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These definitely run at least a 1/2 size large and are more than wide enough for my hard to fit and wide feet. I am very happy with this. The insole is not as comfortable as I thought it should be. I put a pair of insoles in to add cushioning and take up a little more space in the first pair I bought. I was happy enough with these to buy a second pair. I dropped a 1/2 size and they are still very roomy. Before adding the insole, my heels would be sore after wearing them, however this was not noticeable when wearing them, only after taking them off and getting off my feet. This has gone away after over a week of wearing them. I generally do not care for shoes which require a break in period, but these have gotten more comfortable with time - about 1 1/2 weeks. Considering how difficult it is for me to find a decent quality shoe, which fits a wide foot, I am happy with these. I wore these out in the rain the first night I had them. My feet were dry when I met a friend who had one soaking wet foot, so I am pleased with that aspect. I also find these a very nice looking shoe.
I would buy this product again By Hiker from Mid West on 12/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fit and feel to these shoes!
By Noel249 from New Mexico on 12/10/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Surprising that this made-in-China shoe actually feels true to size, and is roomy enough for thick socks. Usually have to buy athletic shoes a size larger. Bought these in a size larger and they were too big; exchanged them for my size and they're perfect.
good deal but not a great fit for me. By Tiger Inspect from Haddam, CT on 12/08/2008 Cons: In sole moves, Too much room in shoe Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: used for daily work as home inspector
