By P'ville Hiker from Northern California on 06/19/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe provides good arch support, a definite plus in my book. The sizing is a little funky, but I like the way the laces go almost all the way to the toe, so you can adjust the width at the ball of the foot. Also, the laces are not humongously long like most laces on women's shoes are!

By lunafisk from St. Charles on 03/04/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have severe arthritis in the bones in my feet and I need a shoe that is less flexible. These shoes really deliver! Plus, they accommodated my custom orthotics very easily. They are comfortable for walking and light hiking. The soles have a sticky surface that really aids traction in wet or icy weather. Also, note that the toebox is fairly narrow.
