A design that needs redesigned. By Graceraze from Katy, Texas on 03/09/2009 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Strap Chafes Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These sandals fit very tight and no way to further loosen straps. Also, hard to put on and the the side latch sticks.

Really good, all purpose sandals By Chris from NM on 12/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Going Out, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These sandals have gotten a lot of criticism, but I think a lot of it is unwarranted. Most of the criticism I've read has to do with the "Wraptor" strap fastener/mechanism. The straps on this sandal are fastened by a clip that can be released with the push of a button on the side of the sole. This is useful for removing the sandals without loosening all the straps that hold your feet in place. People have complained about the design of the mechanism, claiming that the latch will fill with sand and become inoperative after normal use. I've found this not to be the case. I trudge through sand all the time and find that one rinse with a hose or just holding it under the sink for 10 seconds removes all the sand from the latch housing. The clip has never gotten stuck and it always fastens right into place. The back/heel strap is also padded and very comfortable, as is the footbed and the cordura nylon(y) straps. The straps tighten well, the fastening mechanism works and is durable/cleanable, etc. On the downside is the fact that the straps seem to be sized for really wide feet. I had mine adjusted/downsized at REI and am glad I did. This is a really good product and a steal for the $.

By Dave from Hong Kong on 10/26/2008 Cons: Heavy, Wear Out Quickly Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the worst souled shoes I've ever worn. I'm in the outdoor industry and have been using the sandals for about 4 months. A month ago, the toe strap broke out of the sandal and loosened the whole strapping system. I repaired it with Gorilla Glue and tooth floss. This month however, the souls which had begin to wear very prematurely in my opinion, BOTH BEGAN SPLITTING. I now have 2 sandals with 3 large holes in the souls after 4 months of use. In my opinion it is quite a pathetic showing for Teva which normally provides quality shoes.
By Al from Cal on 08/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Once you get used to how long it takes to get the sandal on and off, and the push button release gets loosened up after about twenty times, it's a great sandal, very comfortable. The problem for me was that once I spent a little time hiking in & out of the water, the straps chafed both feet on the inside below the ankle - so bad I couldn't use them any longer.
