By bo river runner from seattle, wa on 09/09/2009 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Difficult entryexit, Irregular Fit, Strap Chafes Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm sending these shoes back to either Sierra or Teva. I have three or four pairs of Teva. These shoes 1) get larger in water 2) are way bigger than my other Tevas of the same size 3) have a button "latch" that doesn't work.
There's nothing worse than being on a whitewater river trip in "guide sandals" just to realize on day one that the shoes will no longer latch. Turns out, sand gets into the latch and makes it disfunctional. And what are the chances that on a river trip with guide sandals that you won't get sand in them? Then the push latch stopped working (releasing) at all and I had to spend ten minutes every time I needed to wear them, trying to get them on without a latch. These are horrible. The river guides laughed uproariously at my lame "guide" shoes. They insisted I send them back and I will. Almost ruined my (very expensive) trip.

By mid-west-ener from st paul, minnesota on 02/24/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: many reviews talked about the straps being too short, I found them to be too long. There was simply no way to make them short enough to secure my foot.
By problem feet from LaCrosse WI on 01/30/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It is impossible for me to push the release button for the strap so getting them on and off is challenging.
By Loves Shoes and Bags! from Fargo, ND on 01/24/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks great. Cool Design. Drawbacks: the straps are rough and the material could use some upgrade. The ankle strap/wrap chafes. I wore it around the house the first day for an hour or so and the inside of my feet near the heels are red and a little painful. I hope it's just that it needs some breaking in and reshaping from the packaging. Otherwise it wld be a perfect pair of sandals.
Good, but could be improved. By Walking Granny from Northwest PA on 12/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The strap release on one of the shoes works only with a lot of difficulty. I'm hoping it will get easier as time goes by.
