not the best teva sandals out there By als from tempe, az on 03/23/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The "quick release" buckles are a joke, they are impossible to operate. Unlike other Teva styles, the straps at the front near the toes are NOT adjustable and are way too big on my average size feet. I am returning these.
By Leave no footprint from Providence, RI area on 03/23/2008 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Totally unattractive for a womans foot (in my opinion) Like wearing waffle irons...Flat rounded and wide and NO arch support..same goes for the hurricane slide by Teva....Perhaps okay to go to beach and if you have very wide flat feet.. but?? The straps are cheap too.
By Granny V from St. Louis, MO on 02/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased the sandles late in the season, so I only got to wear them once, but they were great.
By JanetG from Brooklyn, NY on 12/15/2007 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these because they required hook-and-loop adjustment every time you put them on. This is a hassle and also limits the life of the shoe--in my experience the loop part wears out after awhile
By Girl Loves Green from California on 12/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Innovative, Stable Best Uses: Hiking, Travel, Water sports Describe Yourself: Casual-chic, Down to earth, Gardener, Sporty Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable, although much more shoe than the classic Teva sandal. These adjust across the whole foot, as advertised. For narrow feet, the strapping is still a tiny bit loose, but not to the point of being unstable. Be advised- although this shoe comes in whole and half sizes, the whole sizes are consistent with Teva's other whole-size-only models. In other words, I am consistently an 8.5 but drop to the next lowest whole size in Tevas, including these. Love the "one-time adjustment" feature- the quick release button takes some breaking in though, and is still a little tricky to depress while standing up. Great traction on the sole and in the footbed. So far, appears to be a very durable, well constructed shoe. Snap in, and you're good to go!
Teva quality, not-so-quick-release By NY Bluebonnet the Therapist from Upstate New York on 12/10/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The quick-release buttons were quite stiff
at first and required a bit of hassling, but
they eventually loosened up. All else was
excellent from beginning.

I love these sandals but.... By Jane the Artist from Somerville MA on 10/18/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Dressy casual, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Artistic, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found these sandals to be very comfortable right out of the box. I wear them with everything -- dresses, shorts, jeans -- they look great with everything. The one major problem I have is taking them off. I find the release button impossible to push. I struggle with them every time I need to remove them from my feet. And the design, though it is so attractive, is overly complicated. It took me awhile to figure out how to work the strap and the buckle but once I got the strap to fit right, I left it that way and never changed it for fear of not being able to get it right again.
By Born2Travel from Seattle, WA on 10/06/2007 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The push button strap release low on the heel is just bad design. While hiking recently on rough terrain I found that the strap release came undone constantly when it was barely bumped against anything. I was always having to stop to click it back in. Fine for the city but forget the hike with these. Otherwise very comfortable sandal & love the look.
