By abc from Boston, MA on 07/24/2008 Best Uses: Indoor, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super chalk is good, but it is loose chalk. I don't know why the title says chalk bag. It's just loose chalk in the plastic bag.
Good deal for well-known product By Donaldo from New Mexico on 04/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bag of chalk, not "chalk bag."
Great price, great product By J4 the Climber from Melbourne, FL on 01/31/2008 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Getting Started Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm only just starting out bouldering but I like this product. Although chalk is chalk so its kinda hard to mess it up. Oh well, good product.
Best chalk around...VERY dry By ash78 from Birmingham, AL on 10/14/2007 Best Uses: Bouldering, Casual Climbing Describe Yourself: Avid Climber, Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've tried three or four different kinds of chalk, figuring they're all pretty much the same (a commodity, right?). Wrong! Metolius superchalk seems to create insane amounts of friction, which is especially obvious on the heinous slopers of the Deep South boulderfields. I have heard some complain of excessive drying, but in my world, there's no such thing :D
Fine Grind, but still good chalk By Chris from Chicago, IL on 09/19/2007 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was bummed when I found out this was fine grind chalk. I'm not a fan normally, since most fine grind is too fine, but it turned out great. It's chalk, the same thing you buy at the climbing wall, except cheaper. I like the metolius product, and this is the easiest and cheapest way to get it.
By enjoisnowbrding from Southern Oregon on 09/11/2007 Pros: Durable, Stays On Hands Well Best Uses: Bouldering, Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice, finely ground chalk. Both easy to pack into sock balls, but also excellent for outdoor free chalk bags!
