Among best shoes I've ever owned By HighSierraJen from Incline Village, NV on 12/13/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are awesome! I sometimes wear 8.5, sometimes 9 -- the 8.5's fit perfect. Comfort right out of the box. Traction like a hiking boot. During cold fall days, before the snow I wore them with regular socks and my feet never got cold. Perfect walking in the woods, on rocks, on steep trails, or to the grocery store. Never have been a fan of tennis shoes -- these are closer to hiking boots, without the bulk and weight.
Great approach shoes for narrow feet By dbooth from Los Angeles on 09/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a comfortable, stable and lightweight approach shoe. Note that the toe box is narrow, and built for women with narrow feet. But it is high quality, and a great plus on the trail.
