By Enjoys hiking from from Missouri on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear my Vasque Endorphin for light hiking, short trail running, cold weather, and everyday walking. Very comfortable (good cushioning),lightweight, and no "break in" needed. They're great when in mud or when it rains. Maybe that's why it also makes my feet feel hot -- not breathable as I would have liked, so I guess they're water resistent. I did notice that it squeaks when I walk in it on smooth surfaces, esp. when indoors. It doesn't squeak when I'm on grass or mixed terrain.
Overall, comfortable quality shoe.
By Rachel from Asheville, NC on 10/14/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run on trails daily. This shoe has incredible traction. I rarely slip around. My foot feels supported and comfortable. This is the best trail shoe I have found. I have weak ankle tendons from years of slipping on turning my ankles on trails. This is the only shoe that keeps my ankles and feet completely stable.
Poor cushion under eyelets By Melanie the librarian from Nashville TN on 09/28/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: All good except that very little tongue cushion between lower eyelets and foot. May not be bothersome to some. Otherwise seems like nice shoes.

Only thing is to buy a larger size as this shoe runs small.
By Comfort is Key from Chadds Ford, PA on 08/03/2009 Cons: Not flexible, Poor Cushioning Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were too small, and unfortunately the next size was unavailable. I cannot give feedback on the pros as I could not wear them.
Mist means blue not green By Toby for Bethy from Salinas on 07/22/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thought mist was a greenish color, turned out to be blueish, oh well.
By MJ from Glen Allen, VA on 07/15/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fit, for me. I wear a size 5 and have a very narrow foot, AA, and these shoes are just right for me. So they might be a little tight if you have a a wider foot. I didn't comment on if they dry quickly or how durable they are since I just got these and have not worn them in wet conditions yet. They feel great, are light weight, and very stylish too. Great shoe for the price. I would buy this shoe again!
By Michele from Lyons, CO on 07/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Strength circuit training, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my third pair of these shoes which shows that I really like them! As with all of my athletic shoes, I remove the liner and use a superfeet type of insole. The liner that comes with it is o.k. but I prefer more support from a specialty liner in all of my shoes. These shoes really keep my foot stable on various terrain...trail, rock, trail with loose rock and roots, gravel road and paved. I like that its no too cushioned and you can feel the trail under your feet...however it is cushioned enough to be comfortable. I also use these shoes for circuit training with weights and I get great support for that as well. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 and a 6.5 fits perfectly. Nice roomy toe box. This shoe breathes well. It isn't water proof so you will get damp if you cross a stream! Dries fast though. I haven't found a ventalating trail shoe that I like better. Give it a try!
Not as good as their hiking boots By Windwalker from Whitestown, In on 05/23/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Great Traction Cons: Not Comfortable, Not Durable/Wears Easily, Not flexible Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 pairs, and both are stiff. I've had to use Super-glue on several little rubber 'nubs' on the bottoms of one pair. I've always loved their hiking boots, but these are 2nd rate! I'll go back to Nike for running/walking shoes.
