By HoundMom from California on 04/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are fabulously comfy! But be aware that they are not comfy right out of the box. When I first put them on, they were a little stiff, but within 30 minutes or so they were great.
Light weight. Nice looking. Great traction. I intend to use these for every day wear and also for Agility classes.
True Trail Running Shoes - no blisters! By TwoTmich from Chicago, IL on 02/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tested these new shoes with a 10-mile trail run on the hilly terrain of Marin County, CA. Right out of the box they fit my feet wonderfully - no blisters and my feet felt fully supported. We ran on lots of uneven surfaces, with several steep angles and the shoe grabbed the surfaces wonderfully. I also took them out for a run on the snowy trails just south of Chicago this past weekend and the shoes worked remarkably well in the snow and seemed to be fairly waterproof. An added bonus! The only negative was that the are a bit heavy on the feet, and I would never consider using them for running on roads. These are strictly off-road shoes in my opinion.
