By Keller Girl from Texas on 03/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit on these shoes is strange. The 9.5's which is my husband's size were almost a full size too large. The 9's were too small and seemed narrow. He returned both and chose a different shoe completely.Would recommend with reservations around fit. Other than that seemed like they were well made as expected from Asolo.[...]

He loves these because they are lightweight and durable.
Just what I was looking for. By Doc from Wa state. on 03/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Paragliding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for something lighter weight than my various boots, but with more ankle support than my standard trail running shoes. This "ultra-lightweight hiking boot" is just right. I was worried with all the Gortex that it would be a bit sweaty, so far in Spring conditions it is okay.
Excellent for approach hikes with my paragliding kit, and, enough support for stable launches and landings.
Much better than I had hoped for. By Charley from Knoxville Tennessee on 03/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a low rise Gore Tex shoe for day hiking and exploring that are a little lighter than my old reliable leather boots,(which fit me extremely well). I am pleased to report that these fit just as well, and after two days of around the house wearing-went on a six mile hike and were almost as comfortable as my older broken in hikers. Really pleased with the weight and comfort. Looking forward to using them in Costa Rica next month. Highly Recommended.
By somewhere in from marin county on 03/10/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: last shape was just not quite wide enough for my very blocky toe area. otherwise seemed like a great shoe, but had to return them. was really hoping they would fit as the format was wonderful for the tougher, slower trail running in rain/mud that i had in mind. really liked the higher cuff.
Just what I was looking for By Wildcat Ron from Walton, Kentucky on 03/04/2008 Pros: High tops are great, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for two reasons; Gore Tex and the "high top" features. They fit true-to-size and are rugged enough for hiking with my dog. I have a cairn terrier and he likes to manuever into some pretty rough spaces. These shoes fit the bill.

By Yusuf from Syracuse, NY on 03/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I always look for high, trail runners, above the ankle. I order sized 14, but with orthodics and a nice pair of socks, sometimes 14 feels like 12.5. These accomodated both conditions and still fit. I thought that these were higher on the ankle from the picture, but they are just a little higher than low. Very light and great support. Have yet to venture out too far out and about with them. However, I am looking forward to that once it stops snowing.
By James from Victoria on 12/27/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Stable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: While this is intended as a running shoe, I will likely use it as a walker. I especially like the higher top.
By J Canuck from Quebec City, Quebec , Canada on 09/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You can't go wrong with these! Great deal, and they fit extremely well. They work equally well running on trails, or kicking around town. I suspect that these will be the "go-to" pair once the wet weather arrives. [...]
