By ElkHntr from Eau Claire WI on 04/17/2008 Best Uses: Big Game Hunting Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Having another pack from Badlands I was expecting a more ruggged strap system. While the pack overall is well built, the stap system is flimsy and leaves a lot to be desired.
Great for the walking varmint hunter By Old Pa from Northwoods on 11/20/2007 Pros: Fills a necessary nitch, Improves Performance, Works Well Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: With a 70oz CamelBack insert full of water, my rain gear, firstaid, 600 Kcal of energy bars, and ammunition in it, my regular rolled up shooting map straps on it vertically and I'm good to go all day. With the offroad driving regs in the national grasslands, this gets me walking to where I need to go with what I need to have along. I have already recommended it.
By BB from Southern California on 09/17/2007 Pros: Durable, Improves Performance, Works Well Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Running, Warm Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This my third Badlands Pack. It's great for hot weather birds or game. It's comfortable, cool, and "slick" through the brush. It's just the right size for lunch, camera, GPS, and all the small stuff you need. Like all Badlands products, it works perfectly.
