These were supposed to be a back-up pair for when the others broke down and fell apart. He put these on the day they arrived and I haven't seen him in anything else since. He said they are super comfy and now are his favorite shoes.

Plenty of padding; very comfortable shoe. Slight chafing due to seam on inside of heel. Great shoe for jeans/casual.

They are comfortable & should make a nice every day shoe for light activity. I do not think the construction is sufficient for heavy duty activity though, but they would be fine for short day hiking. I belong to a sports coop, & could not find a better shoe at this price for the use I wanted.

NOT good where any lateral movement is required as they'll roll. They turned out to be excellent for my hybrid bike, however.
