That is the only reason I did not give a maximum rating. Other than that, it gives great support(the memory foam is just perfect, looks smooth, an overall good quality product. I love them so much I'll keep them and hope that they will stretch and mold after my feet with time.

I bought them for "summer" shoes.. something to ride my bicycle in, kick around town etc.. i usually wear merrell clogs in the winter months, but they look pretty funny with shorts! The Columbia sneakers are definitely a size too small though..I've never worn a 13 in my life, but had to exchange my size 12's for 13's to get a good fit.
