I wore them on plenty of long day hikes on tough terrain with no problems. Once I wore them out, I searched a long time to find replacements (couldn't find these around at the time). I'm stuck with a pair that aren't as good. I'd buy again in a heartbeat at the price listed here ([$]), but don't see my size.

True to size and width, I bought the medium width (only available)but my feet are a little wide still good. Light weight and comfortable. Recommended for HOT climate area. Will buy another pair again when price go down.

I got men's so I'd have room for thick socks, because my feet are a bit wide for Women's sizes. They grip well on the rock, and are intended for the trail, too. I only wear them to go scrambling on the rocks or climbing, so I put them on at the car and take them off when I'm done with the adventure. They are excellent for their purpose and I don't expect them to be good for everything.

Bottom Vasque sole is uneven on my pair. The lugs under the ball of my foot feel higher than the rest. They'll probably be fine once a wear those lugs down a little. Also, there are too many lace loops, makes it difficult to tighten and loosen the laces.
