By Grad student from Portland, OR on 07/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these shoes and would buy them again, but the arch support feels a bit high and was uncomfortable until I wore the shoes a couple times. Overall they have great support and are like wearing a lighter, more comfortable version of a hiking boot.

By SPC44 from Houston on 07/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's hard to buy the right shoes online. Sizing is very important. I love these shoes but they are just way too small. Next time, I will order two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit. They would have been perfect for my trip to Costa Rica but I'm opting to go to a retail store to get the right fit.
Already feel like old favorites By Nadya from Colorado on 07/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes to replace a previous pair of Columbias that had (finally) worn out after many years of daily hiking in the back country of the Rockies. I was afraid a new pair might require a 'breaking in' period' but they've been comfortable from the first time I put them on. I ordered up a half size because they felt a little small and because I like to wear thick socks with them.
By Inexperienced from NC on 07/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a little apprehensive about wearing new shoes to walk around on vacation, but because I went to South America during their winter, I didn't have the time or inclination to break them in (too hot for summers in southern US). However, these were wonderful! I wore them for walking around the city, as well as days hikes in the Andes. They were good for temperate weather and the cold in Patagonia. No blisters + super comfortable = Great shoes!
By Hiker Ashley from Cody, WY on 07/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only worn my shoes around town and on a short hike. So far they are great!! At first they felt a little tight, I have wide feet. After I wore them a few hours though, they fit great! These shoes are comfortable, have great traction, and seem very durable. I had a pair of Northface shoes that wore out in a few months, theses Pima's are still going!!!!!!! I have not had a chance to use them in cold or wet weather yet.
