By painter lady from Atlanta, GA on 06/20/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, nnn Cons: Collar digs into ankle, Collar is tall Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't know that these shoes are worth the hefty price tag. I can tell that after wearing them for a few hours, my legs feel more fatigued, particularly my calves. For someone who never works out, these would be better than nothing, but I wouldn't call it a workout.
I don't think I'd recommend these, but I also wouldn't tell someone not to buy them. It would just be up to the individual to decide. They are not miracle workers, and I don't think that they are really worth the money.
Very good product I have recommended it By loulou from Western Australia on 06/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Best Uses: and tread mill, Pavement Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used on a treadmill with good results but must wear good socks with these and get one size bigger shoe as small fitting.
comfortable but very different By gomama2 from merritt island FL on 05/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding, Versatile Cons: none, None it's great Best Uses: Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes really run small. I wear a 41 in birks, but ordered these in 41 2/3 and they just fit. I would probably get a 42 next time. They are very comfortable and have a great squishy heel.
By dog walker from Toronto, ON, Canada on 05/20/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are comfortable, but kind of ugly. They don't look good with too many outfits. They are a little hard to get on, especially when wearing socks. They feel great when walking.
By JR, happy MBT owner from Southern California on 05/19/2008 Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love my previously purchased MBT walking shoes but this one, as others report, is very very stiff, and elastic makes it very difficult to get on--almost impossible with a sock. I have a narrower foot and it was not really too short. I don't think in a bigger size (if it'd been available) it would have been any better. A different MBT style would be better choice.
By Cilgia from Switzerland-Europe on 05/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Every day wear, Stability Best Uses: Every day, Pavement Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: like noticed in the description - order them 1/2 size up then you will be fine! Easy to take them off and on. I do not like a lot the design of the MBT shoes; most are very "conservative". But this one is really nice! A reason to choose them!
Narrown and rubs at the ankle By Disappointed in Philly from Philly, PA on 05/08/2008 Cons: Causes Blisters, Rubs against ankle bone Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not like other MBT models. Like the look but don't like the fit.
Not the best choice For MBTs By Stacy A from Sunshine State on 05/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This fit is different than other MBT shoes. I personally feel the newer tennis shoes from MBT have a better fit and feel and the size is truer, but I just love the look of this style and the hole in the top for your feet to get a little breeze. I also prefer the elastic lace as apposed to the traditional tie laces.
By MBT fan from California on 04/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are great as long as you buy them big...I originally ordered my regular size and they gave me some pretty serious blisters...however, when I ordered them a half size up they worked great and are quite comfortable....I love them, especially for the design. I feel like I can wear them with anything, and the grey on the sole of the shoe seems to minimize the "moon shoe" look. Great buy!
