By msubobcats from Northern Calif. on 05/31/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Trails, Wet Conditions, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pair was my second pair and for a lower cost shoe I am pretty satisfied. I think I will order a third as the price is hard to beat. And I am a big NB user. I rotate four pair of shoes and my oldest pair is about due for retirement (Brooks Adren. GT5, NOT my fav shoe). Not worried about buying a 3rd 846. All my shoes are from Sierra.
To add, I am 6'1", 185#.
By ML from Today in Germany, most often in Finland on 05/27/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am trainining to run a marathon, and now own 3 pairs of 846'es, 1 for indoors and 2 for outdoors jogging. That way the shoes have time to dry properly before the next use, and will last longer. These shoes are a good fit for me, I tried another brand and much more expensive shoes, but returned to NB.
Nice shoe, but not for me By Big Daddy from Jamestown, NC on 05/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Padding, New Balance quality Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Unlike other New Balance shoes that I've owned. This one contained an inside stiching that ran along the top of the toe line that was very uncomfortable. Had to replace wtih another brand shoe.
