By water girl from wisconsin from Wisconsin on 12/08/2008 Pros: Easy On and Off, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I teach water aerobics and have some knee problems. I have noticed that my knees hurt more since I started using them. Maybe they are a little heavier than what I am used to. On the plus side they have good traction. Order 1 size smaller, I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size smaller and had to return them. The comments were correct they run BIG!
By Spiritbead from Eagle River, AK on 12/07/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Great looking, Very nice colors Best Uses: Lake, Ocean, Pool, River Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: LOVE these shoes. When they went on sale I ordered 4 more pair! I teach water aerobics and decks can be trecherous! Not to mention the "black lines". These shoes are non skid, look great, are easy on/off.
Best shoe I've found to date!
I have reccomended them to friends, students AND other instructors!
awesome water aerobics shoe By Spiritbead from Eagle River, Alaska on 12/02/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a water aerobics instructor and I use these in a pool situation. I have tried several different brands and had bad experiences with several other brands (slippery and fell when wearing). These Teva's from the get-go have been awesome. Not slick, on deck or in the water. easy on and off. Toggle and tie down work great. They do run large. I bought a half size smaller than I normally wear as did several other instructors I know. I now have 4 pairs of this shoe, all colors!
A GREAT WATER AEROBICS SHOE!!!
By Not a Native Texan from La Porte, Texas on 11/20/2008 Cons: Difficult On and Off Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The reviews said these shoes run large so order a size smaller. I played it "safe" and ordered a half size smaller. They were too small, and I had to return them for my true size. I would say to order your actual size. I have tried several shoes for water aerobics and these are the best I have used. The laces are so long that tucking them in is a pain, so I don't unlace them. This makes them a bit difficult to get on but it is worth the hassle.
By Lanie from San Jose on 11/11/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I teach aqua exercise and would highly recommend these shoes. They are comfortable and easy to get off and on. Once they are tightened they stay on. The spider rubber provides excellent traction on wet surfaces. I have only had these a month and do not know how they'll hold up. Chlorine is horrible on the soft part of any shoes, but the shoes look like they have chlorine resistant materials in all the right places. I found they fit true to size.
P.S. I have already bought a second pair.
By Ele from Baltimore, MD on 11/08/2008 Pros: Easy On and Off, Good Traction Cons: Can't tuck in drawstring Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these shoes primarily for my water aerobics classes and they are wonderful. Recently I used them for snorkeling (instead of fins)and they were great. They drain water really well and protected my feet from sharp rocks.
By Kat from Bend, OR on 09/03/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Recreational Rider Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: During a four day white water raft trip I wore these shoes 98% of the time. For the most part great shoes. Only draw back for me was with tired, cramped fingers, the small release on the laces was difficult to work.
By beth san diego from san diego on 08/17/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Boating, Kayaking, Rafting, Sailing Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good water shoe, long to dry. Women, dont order 1/2 size larger as some indicate. That was too small for me. I wear a 7 and a 7 fit.
By Kathy from Villanova, Pa. and Canada on 08/15/2008 Pros: Best fit and comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Would buy more Best Uses: Boating, Hiking through woods, Kayaking, Sailing Describe Yourself: Intermediate Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took them to an Island in Canada and hiked through tough woods and used them doing boating.
