By new mexico quilter from Belen, New Mexico on 08/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Intermediate Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these shoes for use as shallow water waders when fly fishing. Boy do they fit the bill. Combined with a neoprene bootie they are perfect. Love 'em. Had to send the first pair back, they were too small with the bootie. Went up one size and they are perfect.
By katygal from Central PA on 07/28/2008 Pros: Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Boating, Kayaking, Sailing Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these shoes for sailing and playing in the creek. Love the shoes, but they give me blisters and rub my toes raw. They drain water quickly and give great traction.

By Jennifair from Boise, ID on 07/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Cons: None that i'm aware of Best Uses: Boating, Kayaking Describe Yourself: Recreational Rider Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a 7.5 (which has always been my size) because i read all the comments suggesting that the note to order a size smaller was wrong. I found that i had to send my 7.5 back for 6.5 (which fit perfectly). They definitly run a full size too large...at least for my size.

By walker 855 from Santa Cruz CA on 06/28/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Difficult On and Off Best Uses: Anything near the water Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these for biking and being at the beach. I like the lightness and flexibility of the shoe, and that it dries quickly. I find the lacing with a snap a little challenging to get used to.
By Water Aerobics Queen from Concord, CA on 06/20/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy On and Off Best Uses: Boating, Kayaking, Water aerobics Describe Yourself: Recreational Rider Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered full size small as suggested, but had to return them for my normal size. I'd say order your regular size or no more than 1/2 size smaller.
Teva makes very durable water shoes By Stream Surveyor from midwestern US on 06/20/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Boating, Environmental Surveys, Kayaking, Sailing, Waterskiing Describe Yourself: Aggressive Rider Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a similar (older) style with regular laces. I've worn the same pair 8-hr days, 5 days a week for two summers for stream surveys and they are still in great shape with only one small tear in the mesh. I bought a second pair last year and rotate between the two (they don't always dry out completely overnight in our humidity). I might buy a third pair just because they're such a good deal. I recommend wearing cotton socks to keep fine sand out if you're using them intensively like I am.
