Adequate water shoes
By ZiasunbirdVerified Reviewer from New Mexico on 08/12/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Good Traction
Cons:
Difficult On and Off
Best Uses:
Any pool use, Water aerobics
Describe Yourself:
Beginner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The shoes are supple and, once on, comfortable. Unfortunately, they only come in whole sizes, so one pair was too small, one somewhat too large (those are the ones I kept). Because they do not lace up, but you slide your foot into them, they are not very easy to put on and take off, but they are a good enough value for the price that I am happy with them.

Very nice and stylish. Run a little tight but comfortable. Hard to get on and off, but that can be good when your rafting.

would have been good if they fit...
By timtamsinVerified Reviewer from Canberra, Australia on 08/04/2008
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I was keen to get these shoes for reef walking and snorkelling in particular, as they appear to be able to fit fins over them. Unfortunately these seem half a size too small, so they are too long to be comfortable (and this sort of shoe really needs to fit correctly to be practical), plus the elastic banding across the top and sides makes them feel quite uncomfortably tight across the ball of the foot and I don't have what you'd call a 'wide' foot. Didn't get a chance to try them in the water - I might give them to someone who they'll fit properly!

Successfully Satisfied!
By Spirited J-girl!!! from Warner Robins GA on 06/27/2008
Pros:
Durable, Easy On and Off
Describe Yourself:
Beginner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I used these shoes on a very mild kayaking trip. We were able to get out a lot and walk around on the rocks. I did slip a few times, but then again rocks under the water are very slippery and I wasn't wearing cleats! I was afraid they would rub a blister on the backs of my ankles, but they didn't! The only annoying thing was that I had to dump the water out of my shoes every time I sat back in the Kayak..if I had ordered something more like a sandal the water would have been able to freely flow in and out...

Compromise for Half Sizes
By Kayaking KindVerified Reviewer from Seattle on 06/03/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction
Cons:
Order down not up
Best Uses:
Boating, Kayaking, Sailing
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Rider
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The shoes are made well and are appropriate for recreational water sports. The only problem I had was having to return them because being a half size, I was told to order up to the next full size. The shoes are too loose to stay on in ocean currents, so I exchanged them for a full size smaller. I would recommend ordering a half size DOWN, notup.
