Good shoes, run 1/2 size small By Rebeccacturtle from Redwood City, CA on 04/27/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great shoes, extremely comfortable. I hike 6-7 days a week on trails and roads. They have been very supportive. I did have to return the first pair I ordered for a 1/2 size larger though[...] But overall their service and price was very good. I did see these on other sites for the same price but I think STP is a reliable business[...]

Not sure if I like them or not By Gorge Girl from Pacific Northwest on 04/13/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions Describe Yourself: Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually run in Salomans for the trails, which I love. These came with great reviews. I found them to be very stiff, and tight around my heel. I returned them, as they weren't what I am used to.
By KD from Santa Barbara, CA on 04/11/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took a long hike with them right out of the box. No rubbing or discomfort anywhere. Fabulous traction on the trail. Could have a little more cushioning underfoot, but the stiffness gives the foot support on rough terrain. Stepped in a stream with one foot and it did not affect the comfort. Within 10 minutes I couldn't tell a difference between the dry shoe and the wet one.
