By Outdoor Lover from Sewickley, PA on 06/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Bad traction on wet tile Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Trail running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are great! They were comfortable right out of the box. I bought them for a 10.7 mile trail run that is just 2 weeks away. I've run in them several times already. These shoes are the whole package: good support, amazing cushioning and great traction. I wore them to my daughter's zoo field trip yesterday... in the rain. I packed an extra pair of socks, assuming my feet would end up soaked but they didn't! My feet were comfortable AND dry! I would recommend them for anything from a day at the zoo to running wet, yucky trails. The size seemed to run pretty accurate for me. I use my own custom insoles, so I always order a half size up... that's what I did and they fit great.
excellent support with extra treads By B in DC from DC on 06/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very high quality---this is my first Vasque shoe and I rate them 5 stars. These are also good for narrows: I have a narrower foot than some, even though I always buy medium widths, and these shoes are great.
Comfortable, sleek, durable. By Shad from Woodinville, WA on 05/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am getting ready to start a new job where I will be on my feet all day. I use them to workout, run, and many other daily activities. They are the kind of shoes that don't make your feet hurt at the end of the day. I also enjoy the look of them different, not too flashy, and cool.
By Tahoe Igoe from South Lake Tahoe, CA on 05/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are just too stiff for me. I prefer running shoes with a fair amount of cushion. No matter what I try, they kill my feet after about 15 minutes of trail running. They are super cool looking and have great traction though.
By Chucklhead from Darby, MT on 05/19/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not what I expected of a Vasque shoe. They did not feel good to my feet. I sent them back.
By Walking Woman from Carson City, NV on 05/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these shoes almost every day! Great for power walking, and they are super comfortable for the occasional jog. I walk on trails with loose soil/gravel, and the traction is very good.
By See God in Nature from Denver, CO on 05/05/2008 Pros: Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have to wear special insoles because of foot problems and my orthotics could not fit into the shoe because of the stiff heel that would not give enough for me to insert them. Vasque typically makes a fine product but given my special circumstances, I had to return them.

They have a wide enough toe box for those who may have had bunionectomies, like myself! I only wish they were water-proof and that the traction lasted longer!
