I find merrell fits a little big so I ordered 1/2 size down than I normally wear and they fit perfect! Since they are not waterproof I bought some waterproofing spray, and now they are the perfect shoe. Very comfortable and can't beat the price. A similar shoe retails in canada for $150.00

I could not wait to get them. They feel great and have great support. The price is great. They were over $100 everywhere else I looked. They will work great on many walks trough the woods.

okay but stiffer then other merrells By niobemomto3 from SW CO on 12/04/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have bought Merrell chameleons three times before and LOVED them. I bought these expecting the same. The traction is great, even better than the others, but the shoe is much more stiff feeling, bordering on uncomfortable. I like them enough and at the price they were, still worth it, but miss the comfort of the other Merrel's I've had. Good shoe, a bit too stiff
The most comfortable hiking shoes ever! By GracieC from Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 12/01/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shoes! They are much lighter than the other Merrell hiking shoes I have and they are SO comfortable! I have flat feet and these have the most amazing support. I don't even need my orthotics when I wear these! They are very stylish and attractive, and don't scream "hiking boots" the way some hikers do. They are so cute I wear them with everything, and I get lots of compliments on them. I highly recommend this shoe!
