By Casual Hiker from Richmond, VA on 11/05/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: They look cute, but are so small I couldn't even try them on. I usually am a size 6-1/2-7 and ordered a 7. I returned them without exchanging for a larger size, since I don't know what to expect next.
By Leslie from Ashland, OR on 11/05/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Granted I have bunions and it's hard to find the right shoes. I liked the look and feel of these shoes, but decided after wearing them around the house for a day that they were going to be painfully narrow. I think they would be great for women with narrow feet.
I would buy these shoes again! By BB from Phoenix, AZ on 10/14/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: On my feet a lot Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Major problems with my feet, shoes that worked in the past just weren't keeping the pain away. I wore these Finn's for the 1st time helping my daughter move. Up and down a couple of flights of stairs and on my feet over 8 hours...no pain! The shoes are lightweight and comfortable as well.
By Raja from Westport, CT on 10/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Like the looks Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got a half size larger than usual which fits fine. Expected to wear heavy socks with these shoes because of the larger size, but I find that they are the most comfortable wearing nylon knee highs.

We try to do a couple mile hike or walk each weekend with decent weather and these have been perfect shoes. They provide traction and protection without feeling heavy. With a pair of good socks my feet stay warm on cold damp days.

By Dances on Trails from Colorado Springs on 09/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore these shoes out of the box on a 5 mile hike on a narrow dirt trail, sometimes uneven surface. It was a lot more comfortable than my hiking boots! They are very light and nimble. The sole is not bulky or over-engineered like many athletic shoes today. Would like a little more arch support but that can be fixed. I recommend these shoes for a narrow to medium foot. After a week of wear, even my bunions are comfortable - my new favorites!
By Patagonia Junkie from Seattle, WA on 09/13/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't taken them on a trail yet but they are super comfortable with good arch support. Good looking, too. You just can't go wrong with Patagonia, especially at this price!
By BKR from Florida on 09/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Outdoor Enthusiast, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the best hiking shoes I've ever had. I bought them for a trip to AK, and wore them touring the towns as well as for hiking, and did not break them in beforehand. I hiked the equivalent of 3 hours on the stairmaster, over terrain that shouldn't even be considered a trail, with a stretched achilles tendon in these shoes - they exceeded my expectations! My legs hated me, but my feet felt great!
