This is my favorite running shoe By bobbi from lee's summit MO on 07/01/2008 Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the fifth pair I have ordered. They fit true to size for a running shoe. The toe box is a bit wide and the heel fit is narrow, perfect for me.
By kat from St Petersburg, FL on 06/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I do 3mi runs a few times per week. I usually wear Asics, but decided to try a Brooks shoe. These are comfortable, but totally hideous. I like lime green, but the silver and off-white color just don't add much. Plus the heal is plastic, which gives it a cheap look. Since I am just running down the street, comfort is more important then looks, so I'll keep the shoe. but would not suggest buying them if you are going to for looks too.
Excellent neutral shoe - my second pair. By Michelle from Temecula, CA on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I pronate in and these shoes stabilize that very well. I run on the street and these do the job well. It's my second pair!
By Fit4 Service from St. Louis, MO on 06/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Padding, Versatile Best Uses: Pavement, Walking, Work shoe Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a friend who bought the exact same shoe and paid [$]for them. I liked them so much I ordered more. I want to stock up as I will be in nursing school for the next 2 years and these will be a great/comfortable shoe to be wearing long hours on concrete floors!
Exactly what I was after! By Rach the runner from Canberra, Australia on 06/22/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Padding Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my third pair of Brooks trance runners... they have fantastic cushioning and provide a very comfortable ride during running sessions!
Love the Brooks Trance 6! By KD5 from New York on 06/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Padding Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been a Trance fan since its inception -- I can step into a new pair and run a 10K race with no problem. These are the best fit for my, alas, bunioned feet.
My only complaint about the earlier Trances is that the sides of the mesh tops wore out fairly soon, but the Trance 6s seem to have been redesigned to respond to just this problem. Time will tell!

If the shoe fits. . . you can run! By fitness female from Ankeny, Iowa on 06/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Padding Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Strength Training Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for my daughter and myself. We both have thin, bony feet and need a lot of cushioning. From the moment we put them on, these shoes were very comfortable--like having a memory foam mattress on our feet. They also had the needed support and stability for our workout program.
Great look, too tight feel By delphis from Northern, CA on 06/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: bulging padding at heel Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Strength Training Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoe, good cushion, great look but one thing that was uncomfortable about this shoe was it's tight padding around the backside of the ankle. I'm hoping it will wear down a little but right now it feels suffocating.
