Flashy, good-fitting, good-looking shoes By Tippycanu from West Lafayette (Tippecanoe County), IN on 05/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have two pairs of Asolo backpacking boots and a pair of Asolo low-cut trail boots. All fit very well and have served me up to my expectations. These are excellent trail shoes as well with a fit that is perfect for my feet. However, because the heel counter points upward and threatened to irritate an Achilles tendon on which I have had surgery, I decided to return them. I really wanted to keep them because of their looks and fit. If you can tolerate a high heel counter, which I can't, and if you like the Asolo fit, these will serve you well.

Caution should be used in sizing since it is made in China and total fit with proper socks is a bit smallish. Waterproofing would be helpful.
By LarryBoy from Salem, IN on 04/16/2008 Pros: Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I hate having to put insoles in my running shoes. I am flat footed and after about two hours my feet were killing me. There are other brands that I don't have to worry about. Money doesn't always mean arch support.
