By happy feet from NY on 12/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 11 and find that many shoes currently on the market are too short. Therefore when I find comments saying that the shoes run large, I order them....and voila!...they fit!!!
By Happy Taveler from Lexington, KY on 08/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These hikers have worked out well for me. I heeded the advice that these run big and got a smaller size, and that's worked out perfectly. (I usually wear an 8-8.5, and the 7.5 works great.) These provide good support and are comfortable for a wide range of walks/hikes. The one small caution is that, for me at least, socks need to cover my ankle, otherwise there's potential for a blister at the back of the upper heel if the shoe contacts the skin directly.

Light weight shoes in great colors By KSher from Cincinnati, OH on 06/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are lightweight, yet provide great support. The narrower heel is great for my foot and provides extra stability. I do a lot of walking on city pavement and these shoes are very comfortable. I got the green and plum colored-ones and love both colors. They do run large; I wish I has ordered 1/2 size smaller
By Hannah from Yosemite on 06/17/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a 10 - usually wear a 10.5 or 11 - and they were still way too big all the way around. I think they were a men's size 10.
By Just me from Muskego, WI on 06/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had Asolo shoes in the past and the quality is unsurpassed. They do run a little large though. I bought a half-size smaller as recommended and it still feels too large. They should work well with heavier socks.
Asolo: always great shoes By Terry from Los Angeles, CA on 06/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, cute color combo, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've owned many, many Asolo shoes and they are great. The ad for these said to order 1 size larger. I ordered a half size larger which fit fine, with my bulky orthotics.
