Decent shoe, but has some issues By Mighty Mic from Solana Beach, CA on 01/21/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall nice shoe, but it has its issues. More of a day hiker than a running shoe. Fits 1/2 size small, and is constructed in a way that shifts weight to the ball of my foot. I'm thinking of getting a pair of insoles to make for a more neutral foot position.
By psound from puget sound on 08/06/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Both the original shoes and the replacement shoes have the exact same defect. Inside the right shoes, under the insole, near the right small toes, the foot-bed is lumpy, uneven and curved up.

By Wyoman from Wyoming on 06/12/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a stretch to call these shoes trail running capable. Compared to brands that specialize in trail running these appear to be designed for light hiking. Previous models of Asolo shoes had the Vibram rubber sole. These shoes do not which is a downturn in quality for Asolo.
