By Jac from Elk City, OK on 02/10/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Secure Fit Describe Yourself: Outdoor Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I"m using these shoes as dayhike shoes, but they could easily replace hiking boots as long as you don't need the ankle support of a boot or if you're hiking in snow. These shoes feel more sturdy than any shoe I've ever owned besides boots. I've been looking for this type of shoe for a long time and have finally found it. I am now an Asolo fan for sure.

Better than tennis shoes. I have a wide foot they they are incredible. Took a while to get the right size. They run at least a full size larger.

Order only 1/2 size down! By walkmamma supreme from Potsdam, NY on 01/28/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Secure Fit Best Uses: Excercisewalking outdoors Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the shoe, and have worn it in light snow to walk on a paved path. The advice in the catalog said to order 1 size down, which should say order 1/2 size down, or 1/2 sizes order down.

By Just Me from Eastern North Carolina on 01/14/2010 Pros: Quality materials, Quality stitching, Smooth sole Cons: Toe box narrow tight Best Uses: Dog walking, Everyday/Practical Use, Stable good for my back Describe Yourself: Bike rider, Conservation-minded, Open to learning, Reader, Target sports, Walker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these with TOTAL confidence since the descriptions read like the Asolo Heli I prize owning. The Gel bed under the removable footbed was not part of this design as I'd expected. I believe this changed how the shoe was stitched to the sole, and affected the fit of the width and toe-box. I had to return them. (STP is very accommodating, but I'd rather have the shoes!)Bought Helis again and am trying another Asolo style. Good products, [...] I am very hard to fit and continue to buy from STP online because of the ease and product.
