By Debbie from Chalfant, CA on 07/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Describe Yourself: Janitor on my feet alot Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am on my feet all day and need a good, support shoe. These are great, but they do get a little warm by the end of the day, and they do seem a little narrow because I have a wide foot, but it is not a big deal. I am very happy with them.
Should have got two pairs. By Neho from Oklahoma City on 05/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On/Off, Lightweight, Multi-Use, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these a few months back for my wife. I just ordered her a second pair. The sole is firm for good support like a trail shoe should be.
Super comfort with great style! By JKDTraveler. from LA, A on 04/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great casual style, Great Traction, Lightweight, Multi-Use Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use, Travel walking Describe Yourself: Casual hiker traveller Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Asolos do run large, but I knew to buy a 6.5 vs a 7. Very comfortable with sporty styling which will travel anywhere and in any weather. Looking forward to wearing these on a rainy day. I'm also a physical therapist and am on my feet demonstrating exercises often. I need strong, comfortable shoes so these fit the bill. I still wear my last pair; had them for 4-5 years and they are still in good shape.
By Still hiking from Cleveland from Cleveland, OH on 03/25/2009 Pros: Easy On/Off, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes were a little large - needed a half size smaller than ordered. Biggest problem was the soles - too stiff for such a light weight shoe. Asolo is a good brand but the shoe, sole mismatch in these made this a send back for me.
By sio from Seattle, WA on 02/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Multi-Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: With one exception...These shoes were a little roomier than I like. I'm always a size 7 and I rarely have a problem when I order a 7 but these seem a little large on the left foot. I looked on the Asolo website and they say they intentionally worked this roominess into their designs. I'm not a pro hiker...this may be desirable fit? At first it felt like my foot was sliding around. They're getting more comfortable with time. I almost returned them.

I got them for winter fitness walking. Suggestion to order 1/2 size down was helpful.
nice-looking shoe but too big By Picky seamstress from Ojai CA on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy On/Off, Great Traction, Lightweight Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Felt a half-size too big. Had to send them back.
Great for trail HIKING, not Running By Nate the black lab's mom from Monument, CO on 11/20/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm and waterproof Cons: Heavy, Heel too large, Not Flexible Describe Yourself: Outdoor girl Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Heed the recommendation that the shoe runs large; I ordered a 1/2 size smaller and it still felt a bit too large. But, even with the right fit, it was too heavy and too stiff for trail running. I needed something that would keep my feet dry and warm on the slightly snowy and wet trails in Colorado, which it did, but it felt like dragging weights around and it was stiff. Would be a great trail hiking shoe for snowy/wet conditions. I'd recommend only for hiking.
