By Azula from Philly on 08/25/2009 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Shoes are not as small as these people are saying. When you know about climbing, you know shoes should fit like a glove, and there should be no space between the tip of your toes and the shoe, in fact, it should fit snug to the extent of making it uncomfortable to painful to walk in them. On real rock, your life depends on it, and you should have no gap at all in the front and sides of your shoe. Your toes should feel cramped, but should be comfortable ON ROCK. Is obvious people are trygin comfort on floor like regular shoes, and that is an amazing mistake.
Another thing to consider when buying shoes, is whether they are natural or synthetic. When they are natural, as these are, you should buy them even a half size smaller than synthetic, so the stretching won't create a comfortable on floor shoe.
The right fit in these is maximum one size larger than your street size, an advanced climber would go up only half a size. If you can't handle it, rock climbing is not for you because you don't understand the basics.

They're versatile- outdoor or indoor climbing- and I have used them a lot and they're holding up well. Great edges and nice "suction cup" things on the heel. Great value.

I read the reviews before i bought it and decided to get a full size larger than i normally wear. I was hesitant to do this bc you are supposed to get them too small, but i am happy i did. They fit perfect for climbing shoes, snug in the toes and adjustable. I love love love Scarpa and for the price GO FOR IT! If you are searching for the perfect ones, DO BUY THESE!!

By vudu from Houston, tx on 03/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've ordered tons from Sierra Trading Post and they are always helpful, even when I return something. But these shoes can't be helped. Literally a size and a half too small and I've ordered them twice. It has cost me nearly twelve dollars to return them and I still don't have any shoes that fit. I wish that I had read the reviews first.
By sueannabananafoster from chi-town on 03/13/2009 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A really nice shoe for what i'm doing (indoor wall climbing). It definitely takes time to work in. I typically wear a 6.5, but purchased a whole size larger, 7.5, and it's still quite snug.
