Scarpa Marathon Climbing Shoes By bellafede from wv on 03/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a 8 for climbing, I bough a 9-9 1/2 and still feels a bit small. But I guess they'll stretch a bit and I am very glad I had this size. My feet are yellow...
Other reviews were accurate By Sue the climber from Montana on 03/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The other reviews on these shoes were true for sizing. I ordered one and a half sizes over my shoe size and they were perfect. Feels like a great shoe. Can't wait to try them out on the rocks!
By Indoor climber from Ohio on 03/04/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this shoe. I only climb indoors, so I'm not sure how it would fare outside. If you decide to order it, get about 1 1/2 size larger than your normal street shoe size.
Wow- small is an understatement!!!!!! By Griffin's pal from Holyoke, MA on 03/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can't rate this item very well because never had the chance to use it.... I read other comments that said that these ran one to 1.5 sizes too small so I ordered up 1.5 sizes. even that was too small. Since that was the largest size in stock I guess I won't have the chance to see how great these shoes are...Sadness. But in addition to them being too short in size they seem to be a bit wide at the toe. I would not have been able to get them snug enough without the front buckling. I suppose if you have a wider forefoot these shoes might work well for you.
By ROCKY from TENNESSEE on 02/16/2009 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THIS IS A GOOD SHOE. EDGES WELL.ORDER AT LEAST A HALF SIZE LARGER THAN USUAL.
I USE WOODEN SHOE TREES TO STRETCH THE SHOE
OUT A BIT.THIS ALSO HELPS TO KEEP THE TOE BOX BIG ENOUGH NOT TO PINCH.SCARPA MAKES GOOD CLIMBING SHOES.

Now they're great fitting and look super
Shoe sizes are made migets By Julia the climber from New York, NY on 01/11/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My foot size is a 7.5 to 8. I ordered a 8.5 to 9. It was still way too small - I had then orderd a size 10. Still waiting for them to come to see if they fit

These shoes run VERY SMALL!!!!! By shoes too small from PA on 12/23/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can't even truly rate these because I could barely get my foot into them! My toes were completely crammed into the shoe so I am returning them. I normally wear a women's 7.5 or 8 in street shoes/running shoes; my cycling shoes are a size 39 and I ordered these in a 39.5 to be safe. I'd say to order at least a full size, if not 2 sizes, larger than normal.
By Laura from Seattle, WA on 12/23/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought three pairs, one in my size, one in a size smaller and one in a bigger size. ALL of them were far too small. There is something completely wrong with the sizing and thus the product is completely misadvertised.
