By Tom from Portland Maine on 01/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Cons: Not Durable/Wears Easily Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I coach football and wore these in the rain many times and they kept me dry, also they felt great and I totally loved them and was considering getting another pair until I noticed the fabric peeling away behind the heels of both shoes. I consider this a factory flaw for sure, I never even ran in them just coached, I have no choice but to keep wearing them and see how long they last.
By digger137 from Price, Utah on 01/16/2009 Pros: Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are good sturdy shoes for eveyday use but they need to be broken in before everyday use. Toebox feels a little tight and you should order 1/2 size larger. Arch support is slightly too far to the rear.
By CDH from PA on 11/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable Cons: Not Comfortable, Poor Cushioning Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: At first I loved this shoe, but I quickly found that the tapered toes were causing pain at the ball of my foot (which then developed into knee and hip pain as I persisted in wearing them). I found that the entire sole was not very shock-absorbing, though the heel was adequately cushioned. However, I did not run in them, I used them for walking and hiking, so perhaps the construction is good for runners.
