By hard worker from knoxville, tn on 05/11/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Cons: Not flexible, Seems stiff Best Uses: Everyday, For work Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: generally, has very good support. Feet were tired @ the end of the 12 hour day on concrete floors. The shoe seems a little stiff. I think it would perform better on the trail, which is what is was sold for. My other shoes with the order are less stiff, and still provide the support. I will keep these for work and also for trail use.

The first hike in them proved to be a challenge and they came through with flying colors. My feet are sort of difficult to fit but these hikers are very supportive and comfortable. My only wish would be that they were more water resistant.
