I think they run a little big.
By isuckatclimbing from fort collins co on 05/16/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile Cons: but they are for climbing, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor, Sprint Climbs, uh, climbing Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: so far I've used these in the gym, and two days from now I'll take them outdoors. I don't know if it's because I'm new at this, or if this is normal, but when I try to smear with them, I end up taking a fair amount of material of off the toe. And the straps are way long, but nothing a scissors won't cure.
By Teacher from Arizona on 05/06/2008 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only used these a little so far. They fit fairly well, but are very high volume- I pulled out all the velcro to get a snug fit. What a smelly shoe- we had them in the car and I started to get a headache from the odor.
By climbgunks from gunks on 04/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice indoor shoe, particularly for the price. As for sizing, I wear a 39 in La Sportiva Katanas, and a 38.5 was about perfect for me here. Since they are unlined leather, I probably could have dropped to a 38 and waited for a bit of stretch to occur.
Great for people with big feet By tomchaps from Berkeley, CA on 12/20/2007 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are fine, cheap bouldering shoes, great for the gym--but only if you have big, high-volume feet. I wear size 10.5 street, and cram into size 9s for most climbing shoes. I wear size 8 in these, and have to clinch them so far down I'm almost out of velcro, and they still feel sloppy. If you have big feet, these will be perfect. Otherwise, beware!
