By Climbing Enthusiast from baltimore, md on 07/02/2008 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My one major complaint is that the heel is too exaggerated and leaves space between the shoe and my actual heel. Doesn't impede my climbing and actually helps for some heel hooks, but I like my shoes a bit snugger.
good shoe for narrower feet By Taylor from Baton Rouge, LA on 04/30/2008 Pros: Thick rubber easy on-off Cons: Symmetrical toebox, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is good for the money, but it is lacking as far as most La Sportivas go. The shoe has a symmetrical toe box so my toes get jammed towards the middle of the shoe. The shoe is also sewn out of two pieces of leather rather than 6 or 7 as in other Sportivas. This makes them fit poorly in comparison to my other Sportivas.
Nice design if you get size right By MW from San Bruno, CA on 04/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Comments: Run at least 1 1/2 sizes smaller than other La Sportiva shoes I have owned.
By JC from Denver, Co on 12/12/2007 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes appear to run large compared to other La Sportiva models. Taking into account the large heel cup they are a the same size as my Mythos, even though they area half size smaller. If I bought them again it would be a full size smaller than I normally by my climbing shoes.
User friendly, all-purpose climbing shoe By Buster from Durango, CO on 12/10/2007 Pros: Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile, Weather Resistant Best Uses: Bouldering, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking for a pair of climbing shoes that I could afford, that I could carry, and would do a much better job than sneakers. These are easy to use and don't hurt my feet or my wallet.
