By trail runner from Colorado Springs, CO on 07/29/2008 Cons: Little heavy but expected Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Great for rocky trail run Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am training for the Pikes Peak marathon and have already run more than 50 trail miles in them the first two weeks with them. They are holding up great with minor marking on some cloth areas. At first, I was starting to get a blister on left heal but adjustment of shoe tightness (looser)and prevented the blister. I have not had problem since. The shoe provides great protection with the protective base plate against rocks.

By Desert Rat from Las Vegas on 05/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Non-slip sole, Stable Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best trail runner's I've found so far. I've used them on rocky, sandy trails and they've offered adequate protection from sharp rocks without being too heavy. The lacing system holds them really tight (in fact I need a shoe horn to get into them) and I've not yet experienced any blistering or rubbing, even on longer runs over rugged terrain.
By sucka from Glenwood springs, CO on 05/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Comments: bought for trail running, just wearing them around the house for 1 day caused the seams to unravel. China sure does make a cheap shoe!
seam grip all seams and they might last 3-6 months of abuse
