My second pair of La Sportiva shoes By Mountain Cur Owner from New Jersey on 07/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use my La Sportiva shoes for walking the dogs. As soon as they see them come out of the shoe cupboard they know we're off out to play! Very comfortable strolling on the sidewalk and running through fields. My only slight criticism would be that some of the fancy trim began to disintegrate with my first pair. But that certainly didn't put me off buying a second pair - which made the dogs very happy!

By Forest Gump from Montana on 04/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great sole design that allows for completely unhindered toe flex. Fit is narrow (just right for me). Efficient lacing system that provides a snug fit all the way down to the toes.
By Runner Reese from Colorado Springs, CO on 04/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: TrailMountain Running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of LaSportivas, and I still need more time in them, but the shoe seems well constructed and well designed. It is not a super stable shoe, nor is it a minimalist shoe...so if you are looking for something right in the middle this is it. It does have a slightly bulky feel and look, but overall it is fine. I did not find it to be running small, but I am an 11 and this might be one of those in-between sizes on the Euro scale.
