Clunky
By Dog walker in mud season from New Hampshire on 03/13/2009
Pros:
Stabilizes Foot
Cons:
Looks clunky
Best Uses:
All Weather Conditions, Muddy Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Walker/Hiker
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I didn't use this product. I just ordered it and returned it when I received it. I ordered it because I have a pair of La Sportiva hiking boots that I love thinking the the low hikers would have a similar weight and comfort to them. These shoes while likely comfortable were rather clunky looking/feeling. The soles were huge which could be good for what someone else is looking for but they weren't for me.

I purchased this shoe to be able to walk my dogs in inclement weather. It fits the bill (and my foot) perfectly. It has proved its worth as I have worn it in 2 torential downpours and arrived home with warm, comfy feet.

Great Shoes!
By JRZ Girl from Northern, NJ on 12/05/2008

Best Uses:
All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger
Bottom Line:

Comments:
I like hiking shoes that have stiff bottoms. Alot of them seem to be more sneaker-like. But these are pretty substantial. They aren't really that light, so if you want a light shoe, it might not be for you. But if you want support they are great!
