bad luck or bad shoe -you be the judge By norman from thornhill, canada on 06/30/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: normally i don't comment but this shoe was terrible.
bought it last year and kept it in the box until a trip to scottish highlands and ireland this may. gore-tex, xcr, read the reviews here and was confident that these shoes would perform -NOT!
the pair i received leaked. walking in both city and outdoor environments, i discovered that my shoes allowed moisture to enter. insoles, lining, interior, all became damp to outright wet. thank the gods for my wool socks! the right shoe was much worse than the left. i would also mention that this was not due to water going above the ankle but simply stepping in to wet ground.
also as some report here, the moulding pulls away from the shoe (especially at the toe tips), until i too had to cut it off.
overall, this shoe became untrustworthy and people who use gear know that they need trust.

I have issues with "stinky feet," and these have been wonderful.
By Nillawafer from Smalltown, Ohio on 04/01/2009 Pros: Affordable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy On/Off, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Environmentalist, Recreational Watersporter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for my son who was going to sixth grade camp in the springtime. It was difficult to find a waterproof trail shoe in his size and these were perfect, not just in function, but in style for someone of his age.
He has decided that he likes them better than his sneakers and has already asked if we can buy them again. This was my first order from Sierra Trading (I was referred by his bassoon teacher) and I will most certainly continue to check this supplier for other needs.

Great price as a clearance item By Warriors from Austin, TX on 01/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Climbing, Everyday/Practical Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son could fit this size 6B, though he does not have narrow feet. Initially hurt his heels, but I think this is just wear-in. These are very tough and lightweight. He likes the rugged character and black color combined with lightweight. They play 'Warriors' in the open areas of the neighborhood.

By rxflyfisher from Westminster, MD on 01/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy On/Off, Great Traction, Lightweight, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use, Great on icesnow, Hiking trails Describe Yourself: Avid HikerOutdoorsman Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the fit, the weight and the performance of this hiking boot. My wife and I hiked all around Banff NP in Canada last summer and they performed flawlessly. I have had great experience with Vasque brand hiking boots and these are the best.
Last time I wore them I was clearing out slush from a drain so that rainwater was not dammed up and flooding the street. Feet remained perfectly dry. They are quite warm with 2 layer socks also. If you can get a pair that fit, you will be happy. Images shared by: rxflyfisherLake Louise - 10 mile hike that day Tags: Wearing product
