By Windy in Kansas from Kansas on 11/21/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy On/Off, Great Traction, Lightweight, Multi-Use, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got these today. They're a mans 6 and I wear a womans 8. I will wear a heavy sock with them (as it's cold here) and they'll fit perfectly. There is absolutely no arch support. They're as flat as a pancake. But I have arch supports in other shoes that I can switch around so I'm sure that won't be a problem. They seem durable, light weight, and practical. The Clearance price was great and I intend to be wearing these for several winters.
By dolfin watcher from Simi Valley, CA on 11/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Multi-Use, Secure Fit Cons: Not so good for slick con Best Uses: Climbing, Everyday/Practical Use Describe Yourself: Casual Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.
By JetMacJoe from Santa Cruz on 11/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Multi-Use, Secure Fit Best Uses: Everyday/Practical Use Describe Yourself: Environmentalist, Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was my first pair of Vasques. I have been wearing HiTecs for 15 years for their fit and comfort. I was disappointed with these shoes because Vasques are more than I usually spend, so I expected better quality. The first few times I wore them the little toe gaurd on each shoe came unglued and made them appear as if they were worn out shoes. I finally cut the little rubber pieces off. Other than this they are a very comfortable hiking shoe, light enough and flexible enough to run in occasionally. Great traction. Price didn't match the quality.
