Great Shoe but too narrow By Susan from Pennsylvania on 08/05/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Comments: I ordered a half-size larger than normal, so the length was fine, but they were too narrow.
By TriciaN from Central Coast, NSW, Australia on 08/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Non-slip sole, Stable, Weight for travelling Best Uses: Day hikes, Travelling Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think the product is great. I bought the size I have had in previous brands. I have feet which are really a half size and it's always a bit of a risk buying online. However, I'm happy regardless and will wear them but I probably will not take them on the forthcoming trip overseas.

Haven't done that yet--but i have been wearing them
to break them in and only had one HOT spot. Got a
blister. All in all light comfortable and good tread.
By hikergirl from allentown, pa on 05/18/2008 Cons: Wide toe box profile Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this shoe because it was one of the rare few I could find in size 12. Unfortunately, it was much too wide, and although I had read previous reviews on the width, I was hoping for the best. I had to send them back because my foot was too narrow, but if you have a wider foot, they did feel very comfortable.
By Hippiechic from Central California on 05/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, No break in period, Stable Cons: Not Water Resistant, Stay out of water Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This brand tends to run 1/2 size larger compared to other hiking shoes I have. But they are very comfortable and I can be difficult to fit. I need a very narrow heel with a wider toe box. The first time I wore them I hiked 20+ miles (roundtrip) w/ a lot of scrambling and about a 4500' gain and I didn't so much as have even the start of a blister. I only wore one pair of hiking socks w/out liners.
By Unhappy from Rochester, NY on 05/04/2008 Cons: Little arch support, Sloppy feeling, too wide Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have back and leg problems and these shoes do nothing to help them. Very uncomfortable! Waiting for them to get in something better.
