By jungle girl from Norfolk, VA on 03/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Waterproof Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Puddles, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a comfortable "all-terrain" waterproof shoe that wasn't outrageously priced and could be used year-round in all different weather conditions & I found it! They are so comfortable & I am interning at my local zoo & we love to hike & rock climb, so I am on my feet, outside in the weather a lot & this shoe fit the bill and it could still be used as an everyday shoe as well. It seems to be sized a little large so go about a 1/2 size down from what you normally wear. I normally wear a 6 & got a 5.5 & glad I did-its perfect! It is a very narrow fit, so if you have a wide foot this is not the shoe for you! I have very narrow, skinny feet & it was a snug fit around my foot. The day after I got them I purposely stepped in a deep puddle & sure enough I didn't feel a thing! So they are truly waterproof & dried quickly too! They are a great buy!!

I bought a 5.5
which is what I normally wear and I should have bought a 5. Otherwise they are great shoes. I may order another pair in a 5.

Great shoe, great price, but too narrow By Susan from Pennsylvania on 08/05/2008 Pros: Durable, GORE-TEX, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish these shoes had fit- GoreTex at this price is a real find.
I ordered a 1/2 size larger so the length was fine, but they were too narrow.
By Amy from Los Angeles, CA on 03/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Water Resistant Cons: Sole not stiff enough Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sole of these shoes wasn't as stiff as I'd like for a hiking shoe. More like a tennis shoe with more traction.
